WorkNet Pinellas has partnered with Eckerd Community Alternatives, Camelot Community Care, St. Petersburg College and Ready for Life to assist Pinellas County youth, 16-21 years old, transitioning out of the foster care system.

Operation Life Skills focuses on career development through mentoring, education, training and job placement. The program will serve over 130 youth and assist each one with:

•    Employability skills training
•    Pre and Post TABE testing to show grade level gains
•    Obtain a GED or High School Diploma
•    Enrollment into Post Secondary Education
•    Complete at least one vocational OCP
•    Job Placement and On the Job Training (100 hours in 30 days)
•    Employment retention for 6 months

Youth are also eligible to earn incentives for each step they complete in the program.
