St. Petersburg Free Clinic, Women’s Residence
Offers transitional housing (shelter) from 1 to 6 months for women who are able and willing to participate in a program for personal growth, education and employment as part of their efforts to develop self-sufficiency. Goal setting, employment information, information & referral, budget skills and assistance in planning for independent living are provided. Women return to independent living as soon as they are able to do so.
Hours: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday
Fees: Program fee for women who are working
Intake/Application Process: Interview required before entering program. Call for more information.
Eligibility: Single homeless women 18 years old or older.
