Homeless Emergency Project (HEP) Shelter Plus Care

Provides temporary housing for up to 30 days men, women, single parents and families with children. Case management, limited medical/dental/mental health assistance, personal hygiene items, employment referrals, and transportation assistance are also provided for residents. Total capacity 200 beds.

Hours: Office, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday; Shelter Intake, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., Monday-Thursday

Fees: No initial fee, Sliding scale discussed at interview

Intake/Application Process: Agency Referral or client to contact for space availability and pre-screening

Eligibility: Homeless men, women, single parents and families with children. Picture ID required for all members of the family and birth certificates for the children. All members must pass criminal background check.  Accepts people with disabilities.  Sex offenders not eligible.
