Kimberly Home Transitional Housing
Pregnant women who find themselves suddenly homeless can find a haven in our Transitional Shelter, a temporary housing facility with convenient access to our other programs and services. Residents of the Shelter receive assistance in finding a permanent home and various opportunities for learning childcare, parenting, nutrition, budgeting and life skills as stepping stones to a better life.
Hours: 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., Monday-Wednesday, Friday; 12:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m., Thursday (Appointments)
Fees: $50 week due upon acceptance into program
Intake/Application Process: Call and make an appointment for interview. *NOTE: Allow approx 1 hour for the interview process. (If there is no opening at the time of the interview, the individual will be asked if they would like to be placed on our wait list.)
Eligibility: 1. Pregnant. 2. Become a client and interview for housing (*by appointment only). 3. Have an income or able to work. 4. 18 years and older. 5. Self-sufficient (cook and clean on own). 6. Have a clean record and drug screening.
