Greater Pinellas Transportation Management Services, Transportation Disadvantaged Program
Provides transportation for medical and dental appointments, physical therapy, support groups and to pick up prescription medication, employment and education. Client must be approved first and can call for an application. Please set transportation 3 to 5 days in advance, no later than the day before transportation is needed. Also provides a monthly bus pass in exchange for client's door to door cab service. The pass is good for unlimited rides for the entire month. Client's who purchase monthly passes are not eligible for door to door cab service. There is also a special citizens pass for a cost of $1.00 if you are on Social Security or have a Special Citizens ID issued by PSTA. Wheelchair transportation is also available, if necessary.
Hours: 5:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
Fees: Please call for details as their are different programs available or visit our website. Medicaid NET program also available.
Intake/Application Process: To see if you qualify, you must fill out one of our application forms. To request an application, you may call and ask for one to be sent to you or fill application out online. Or, you may write us for one. You will be notified of approval or denial within two weeks.
Eligibility: Persons who are transportation disadvantaged and have income less than 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Level.
